How does the hiring of a portrait process work?

Discussion of the portrait.

The discussion includes your budget, the size of the piece, what medium you would like it done in and the photos that you have to use as a reference for the portrait.

Payment, timeline and delivery.

After the project has been discussed and details are sorted, we agree on a timeline for the piece and payment is made to reserve the time on my calendar.

Delivery cost is the responsibility of client.

How much does it cost?

Every portrait is given a quote based on the complexity of the piece including characters, size and medium.

How long does it take?

It depends on my schedule, a timeline is given at the time of the quote. It it’s needed sooner, a rush fee can be paid to have it done earlier.

Can you use multiple photographs and combine them to make it look like people were together in a scene?

Yes.

Can you change the background of photographs for the painting of the portrait?

Yes.
